Case of Covid-19 'British' Strain Discovered in Crimea

A case of the 'British' strain of the new coronavirus infection has been discovered in Crimea. One individual is currently under observation. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing Natalya Penkovskaya, the head of the interregional department of 'Rospotrebnadzor' for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The head of the department noted that the 'British' strain was detected as a result of laboratory tests, and no clinical signs of the disease have been observed.
