Azerbaijani Side Constructs Trench Near Khnatakh Village, Just 100 Meters from Armenian Positions, According to Nerses Shadunts

Near Khnatakh village, the Azerbaijani side has begun constructing a trench in an elevated area that has been designated to them via GPS. This information was reported today by Nerses Shadunts, the head of the enlarged Tegh community in Syunik.

Shadunts emphasized that there has been no official agreement regarding these territories; rather, the border was delineated using GPS, after which there were discussions at the level of military corps to limit advancements.

“...Now we coordinate our actions with our army, but previously it was only decided that a flag should be placed in the elevated area, and that was it. Now it turns out that their posts will be just 100 meters from us, and directly across from them—5 to 10 meters away—we are placing our troops to block visibility of the village,” he stated.
