Melik-Adamyan Hall: A Market for Fools

Melik-Adamyan Hall: A Market for Fools

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that the director of the "Service" state non-commercial organization, Markosyan, responded to our inquiry by saying, "No, who provided such information?" Then he added, "Yes, there is property in the hall, but it is different property. The hall is also subject to use; however, the so-called 'entry hall' contains other property belonging to the Prime Minister's Office. It is old, used property transferred from various buildings."

What about the damaged property from the night of November 9-10? Markosyan stated, "In various places... the doors that were broken, those that were possible to repair, we have restored, various items that were broken have been confiscated and documented by investigative bodies. To be honest, I am not the one responsible for this question; you should contact the Prime Minister's Office regarding this matter."

This means that it is not the case that Melik-Adamyan Hall is not functioning due to the entry hall. Markosyan replied, "But who says it is not functioning? The last event took place on April 10. The Armenian National Congress's congress was supposed to be held here on May 1, but it has been postponed to May 10." He added that the postponement is not related to the congestion of the entry hall, "but rather to the health issues of their leaders."
