Construction Work on New Neighborhood Begins at Karmir Shuka: Artak Beglaryan
Construction work on a new neighborhood has begun at Karmir Shuka. This was announced by Artak Beglaryan, the head of the administration of the Artsakh Republic, on his Facebook page.
“The construction of a new neighborhood at Karmir Shuka has begun... Two days ago, together with the Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan and the Prosecutor General Gurgen Nersisyan, we visited the communities of Taghavard and Karmir Shuka. We familiarized ourselves with the security conditions of the villages, the issues faced by displaced persons, and had discussions with a group of residents. As a result of these discussions, we gained a clearer understanding of the existing problems and concerns of the residents. I communicated to them the government's positions and upcoming programs on various issues. It was encouraging to note that under the current concerns and challenges, there were almost no empty houses, and local residents continue to plan their lives in their homeland villages.
The most important news is that the construction of a new neighborhood with more than 100 apartments for displaced persons has already begun in the Karmir Shuka community. Alongside the construction of concrete foundations, quickly assembled homes will be installed, and I hope that the neighborhood will be ready for habitation in the near future.”
