Sputnik V Arrives in Artsakh
Today, the first batch of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus has been transported to Artsakh. This information was announced by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, on his official Facebook page.
According to him, 15,000 doses of the vaccine have been delivered from the Russian Federation to Artsakh. “I express my deep gratitude to the Russian-Armenian Lazarev Club and personally to the club's coordinator, State Duma member Konstantin Zatulin, without whom thousands of Artsakh residents would not be able to secure themselves against the new coronavirus in the coming days,” the president's post reads.
Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that this is significant support in combating the spread of the pandemic for Artsakh, which is overcoming the consequences of war.
