Shame on You: Protest Action Held in Front of the Prosecutor's Office
The protest action initiated by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) took place near the Prosecutor General's Office with the demand to stop political persecution and illegal arrests.
“You are not fulfilling the duties imposed on you by the Constitution and the law. You are ignoring the citizens' demand to hold accountable the main state criminal and his puppet gang without delay. As long as you do not do this, the shame will echo in your faces, because you have violated your oath, you have broken the promise made when you took on those duties,” said Artsvik Minasyan, a member of the ARF Bureau.
He addressed the law enforcement personnel, urging them not to allow their names to be “disgraced due to the actions of unscrupulous and irresponsible colleagues” who do not fulfill their constitutional and legal obligations.
“Fight from within, so that they eventually fight for the salvation of the Armenian people, for the freedom of those imprisoned for political matters, for your children, for the martyrs whose graves fell so that you can receive your salary today and go home peacefully. We have no right to leave the struggle of our martyr children hanging in the air,” declared Artsvik Minasyan.
He again addressed law enforcement officials, emphasizing that they must and are obligated to serve the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian people, and the legitimate interests of Armenian citizens.
