Political Scientist: "As far as I understand, the Kocharian-Sargsyan tandem has not overcome its disagreements"

Political scientist Armen Vardanyan wrote on his Facebook page: "During Robert Kocharian's ten years of governance, his main political support in the Parliament was the Republican Party. The Republican Party played a crucial role in several coalition governments formed during Kocharian's presidency, with three of the prime ministers being representatives of the RPA (Vazgen Sargsyan, Andranik Margaryan, Serzh Sargsyan). After all this, it would seem logical for the Republican Party to enter parliamentary elections in alliance with Kocharian.

However, as far as I understand, the Siamese twins and strong allies that were the Kocharian-Sargsyan tandem have not overcome their disagreements and mutual distrust, despite openly presenting that there are no issues between them. Instead, the Republican Party decided to go into elections with the Homeland Party led by Vanyetsyan... In short, we are expecting extremely interesting and unpredictable elections ahead."
