Vahe Hakobyan Files Civil Lawsuit Against Arman Babajanyan
The president of the "Reviving Armenia" party, Vahe Hakobyan, has filed a civil lawsuit against National Assembly member Arman Babajanyan. This was announced by Hakobyan's lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan, on his Facebook page.
“A civil lawsuit has been filed today against National Assembly member Arman Babajanyan regarding statements deemed defamatory concerning Vahe Hakobyan, the former governor of Syunik province and the current president of the 'Reviving Armenia' party. The lawsuit demands that Babajanyan refutes the defamatory statements, issues an apology for the insults, and that the verdict be published. Additionally, it seeks compensation for the damages caused to Hakobyan’s business reputation due to Babajanyan's remarks,” wrote Aleksanyan.
It should be noted that during a session of the National Assembly today, Arman Babajanyan made comments that are undoubtedly defamatory and contain elements of insult.
