Moscow and Baku Sign Agreement
An agreement on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia has been signed in Moscow. This was reported by minval.az, citing a statement from the Azerbaijani government.
The agreement was signed as a result of the 19th meeting of the intergovernmental commission that took place on April 27. The meeting was attended by delegations led by the co-chairs of the commission, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
It was noted that in the first quarter of this year, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 2%. The meeting discussed agenda issues, successes, and prospects for cooperation in various sectors including trade, economy, transport, energy, agriculture, and humanitarian areas.
