Fire on School Roof: Three Firefighting Units Deployed

On April 28, at 16:16, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received a report of a fire that broke out on the roof of a school in the village of Arin. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and three firefighting units have been dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the fire broke out in the secondary school located on 6th street of the village. The fire was contained at 17:42 and extinguished by 18:50. Part of the wooden structures of the roof (approximately 120 square meters) were burned, and the metal cover was overheated.
