Armenian 'Escape from Shawshank': Law Enforcement Officers Are Astonished

In the Rostov region, Ashot Movsisyan, who was detained for extortion, managed to escape from a police department while awaiting repatriation to his home country. This was reported by Rusarminfo.

Movsisyan's escape was facilitated by a friend dressed in a police uniform, who pretended to be an operative from the Krasnodar region's Ministry of Internal Affairs, claiming that he needed to take the detainee for unspecified operational actions. According to an eyewitness, the man had a beard and was persistent, although he did not present any documents. As a result, the unknown individual was handed Movsisyan.

Law enforcement officials only realized the escape several hours later. However, the escapees were quickly apprehended and could not get far.
