19-Year-Old Citizen Attempts Suicide from 14th Floor in Yerevan

A 19-year-old citizen attempted to take his own life by jumping from the 14th floor of a building on Argishti Street in Yerevan. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Specifically, at 17:38 today, the Crisis Management National Center received a call stating that a citizen was attempting suicide. Emergency teams, including a fire and rescue unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department and an operational group from the Crisis Management National Center, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the individual had attempted to jump from a balcony. Rescuers, in collaboration with local forces, prevented A. G. (born in 2002) from completing the act, as noted in the statement. The on-duty psychologist from the psychological support department provided psychological assistance to the citizen, who was subsequently taken to the police station in Ketroni.
