Teen Asks for Phone to Make Call, Steals it and Flees: Police Solve Robbery

On April 24, information about a robbery was received at the Kumayri division of the community police. According to reports, a teenager living on Shchedrin Street in Gyumri asked a man for a mobile phone under the pretext of making a call, and after taking the phone, he fled.

The incident occurred on April 23 around 3 PM at the Garegin Nzhdeh Square in Gyumri. The suspect has been identified, presented to the Kumayri police, and confessed to the crime. Further measures have led to the recovery of the stolen property. The victim's identity has been established, and a report has been filed by the man. The materials prepared concerning the incident have been forwarded to the Shirak regional investigative department from the Kumayri police division.
