Aliyev Lays Foundation for International Airport in Zangelan
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has laid the foundation for an international airport in the Zangelan region, according to Azerbaijani media reports.
The foundation-laying ceremony took place during his visit to the Mekhakavani (Jabrayil) and Kovsakan (Zangelan) regions. During the ceremony, Aliyev noted that the runway of the Fuzuli International Airport is expected to be operational within the current year.
