Why Armen Sargsyan Did Not Attend the Concert Under Pashinyan's Patronage: Explanation
Armenian President Armen Sargsyan did not attend the final concert of the "Triad of Remembrance" dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, held on April 24 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. This was announced by the president's assistant, Hasmik Petrosyan, in a conversation with Analitik.am.
The concert was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This is the same concert that caused a stir, with a flash mob even launched on social media, where participants criticized accepting Pashinyan's invitation and called for all invitees not to attend the concert.
In an interview with the media, the president's assistant stated that due to the pandemic situation, the president is refraining as much as possible from attending public gatherings and large closed events.
