A Park Dedicated to the Heroes Fallen in the Artsakh War to be Built
The area between Anastas Mikoyan Street and Yeghvard Highway in the Davtashen administrative district is undergoing improvement and greening. Previously, this location was a hill filled with garbage. As a result of the works, a rock has been demolished, the land has been leveled, and 50 truckloads of stone and unsuitable soil have been removed from the site.
Soon, a new park covering 2421 square meters will be established, dedicated to the memory of the heroes who fell in the 44-day war in Artsakh. The park will feature an irrigation system and will have 31 pine trees planted in honor of the brave young men from the Davtashen administrative district who went to war and did not return.
The works are being carried out through the joint efforts of the Davtashen administrative district and the “Greening and Environmental Protection” Utility.
