Police Detain Young Man During Torch Procession: Gegham Manukyan

Today, during the torch procession from Freedom Square, police detained a young man on suspicion of participating in a protest rally that took place yesterday near the prosecutor’s office. This was reported today, April 23, by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), on his Facebook page.

“I said there are Turks right in Yerevan. Today, during the torch procession from Freedom Square, police detained a young man on suspicion of participating in a protest rally that took place yesterday near the prosecutor’s office. Servants of Nikol, you won’t swallow this,” he wrote.
