Azerbaijan Accuses Armenia of Provoking Incident at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
The Azerbaijani border service has reported that Armenian soldiers allegedly opened fire. According to the Azerbaijani service of Interfax, Azerbaijan blames Armenia for provoking an incident at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"On the evening of April 21, units of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan came under fire from Armenian soldiers in the Zangilan region at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the site states.
It is reported that Russian border guards contacted the Azerbaijani side, indicating that the provocation was carried out by unsteady individuals, and that Russian border guards allegedly asked the Azerbaijanis not to take retaliatory actions.
