24-Year-Old Threatens to Jump from Bridge Demanding Home Renovation from Government

Minutes ago, a young man stood on the Victory Bridge in Yerevan, threatening to jump off unless the Government renovates his home. The young man is 24 years old. According to reports from the scene, he is also requesting a meeting with a government official.

Police stated that he periodically engages in such acts, hanging from a section of the bridge and threatening to jump if the walls of his home are not repaired. He stays in this position for some time before leaving the scene.

Negotiations are being carried out with the young man by police officers, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as representatives from the ambulance service present at the scene. It was later reported that the young man has been removed from the bridge area.
