Pashinyan is Accompanied by the Alpha Unit

Hraparak.am has recently received information that during his trip to Syunik, Prime Minister Pashinyan has been accompanied by an elite unit of the NSS, known as the "Alpha" squad.

This was reported to the site by their sources in Syunik, who noticed members of the unit. The website stated that Pashinyan brought around 2,000 police officers from Yerevan to Syunik, indicating that the police forces were not sufficient for his protection, prompting the NSS special forces to provide additional security.

It should be noted that the "Alpha" squad is tasked with carrying out the most complex missions in difficult-to-access areas. They are capable of independently assessing the scale of potential threats and solving strategic challenges, including neutralizing terrorists, and this unit does not have the mission of becoming anyone's personal security detail.
