I Have No Intention of Challenging My Resignation, Nor Will I Enter Politics: Avagyan

We organized a working discussion regarding our captives, and the outcome was perceived as a series of political statements, although this will not hinder the process, of course. We discussed how to find solutions collectively and obtain answers.

This was stated by Boris Avagyan, the former deputy director of the Artsakh Emergency Situations Department, during a conversation with journalists.

“I have no intention of challenging my resignation, nor will I enter politics; such a thing is totally excluded,” he said.

Boris Avagyan also addressed the issue of today’s PACE session, specifically noting that Russia voted against discussing the agenda that included the return of Armenian prisoners of war.

“It is absurd to think that Russia voted against Armenia. There cannot be a situation where Russia would vote against our issue; it voted against the package that was contrary to their interests,” Boris Avagyan emphasized.
