David Khachatryan from 'My Step' Submits Request to Terminate Council Member Powers

Today, the 3rd session of the 6th convening of the Yerevan City Council is taking place, with the participation of 38 council members. Before addressing the agenda, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan announced that David Khachatryan, a council member elected from the 'My Step' alliance in the city’s electoral list, has submitted a request to terminate his council member powers.

Mayor Marutyan stated, “The mandate of David Khachatryan, a council member elected from the electoral list of the 'My Step' alliance, has been granted to Anna Papyan, the next candidate on the alliance’s electoral list following Khachatryan's early termination of powers.”

He noted that Anna Papyan has not yet arrived at the session but congratulated her nonetheless.
