Thieves Steal Irrigation Pipes in Armavir, Causing 4,000,000 Dram Damage

Officers from the Armavir Police's Criminal Investigation Department received operational information that a 40-year-old man had cut 17 pieces of irrigation pipes, each 11.5 meters long and 82 cm in diameter, in the vicinity of the irrigation pump station in Armavir city in early March and on April 17.

The man managed to steal 8 of these pipes and was preparing to steal the remaining ones, causing an estimated damage of about 4,000,000 drams to the municipality.

The 40-year-old man has been detained by the Armavir Police and has provided a confession. Measures are being taken to locate the stolen property. An investigation is underway.
