Boris Avagyan holds no position in Artsakh and cannot be presented in his former capacity. This was stated to Artsakhpress by the spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Lusine Avanesyan, while commenting on incidents involving Boris Avagyan's communication with the media.

“Boris Avagyan holds no position in Artsakh and cannot be presented as the former special representative of the President on a public basis. Back in March, Boris Avagyan was relieved of his duties in that capacity and I had previously noted that even in that role, he was not authorized to speak on behalf of the President of Artsakh. Therefore, I urge the media not to present Boris Avagyan's comments as being related to the President of Artsakh or any other state body,” said Lusine Avanesyan.
