Relatives of Missing Soldiers Meet with NSS Director
The relatives of missing soldiers were received by the Director of the National Security Service (NSS) in two groups. The meeting took place on April 14. Armen Abazyan met with one group of relatives in the morning, and the other group in the evening. This was reported to 'Patsinfo' by a relative of one of the missing soldiers.
It is planned that there will be another meeting in the near future, during which the NSS Director will present what measures are being taken to locate the missing soldiers and to return the captured servicemen to their homeland.
The NSS Director held this meeting after protests took place near the government building regarding the missing and captured soldiers. Parents who have not heard from their sons for about six months are unaware of what efforts are being made to find their children. Although they were eventually received by Prime Minister Pashinyan, the parents expressed their dissatisfaction with that meeting, and the Prime Minister noted that Armen Abazyan was ready to meet with them and answer their questions.
