No such project has been developed: Prosecutor's Office denies the news of creating a Union of Private Investigators

The advisor to the Chief Prosecutor, Gor Abrahamyan, has issued clarifications regarding a publication by the "Hayastani Zhoghovurd" newspaper. The paper, without appropriate verification, reported today that the Prosecutor's Office has introduced a draft law regarding the authorization of private investigatory activities, allegedly establishing a union for 'nosey people' in private lives.

This information has no relation to reality. The Prosecutor's Office has not developed any such draft law. The newspaper seems to have fueled its imagination, possibly interpreting the mention of MP Arthur Davtyan as the author of the supposed bill, inadvertently revealing a pronounced obsession of targeting the Chief Prosecutor at any opportunity.

Since it has become pointless to communicate further with "Hayastani Zhoghovurd," we simply urge our media outlets, who have become accustomed to disseminating such misinformation in "copy-paste" mode, to verify the accuracy of such claims before republication.
