I Was Scheduled to Visit Javakheti, But It Was Postponed Due to Covid: Armen Sarkissian

I was scheduled to visit Javakheti. There was even a preliminary agreement to visit together with the President of Georgia. That desire is still within me, but I understand that today it is almost impossible to visit that area due to the coronavirus. This was stated today, on April 16, during a conversation with Armenian journalists in Tbilisi by the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.

“You cannot communicate with people from a distance. It needs to be immediate and close, so it was postponed. But I hope that at the first opportunity, when the danger of coronavirus is less, it is necessary for us and for them,” he said.
