36-Year-Old Woman Injured by Gunfire from Unknown Individual in Syunik
On April 14, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 19:10, the Goris Medical Center reported to the Goris Police Department that a citizen had been brought in with a "penetrating injury to the right ankle joint with soft tissue damage."
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the head of the Goris Police Department, Sergo Markosyan, and the head of the Sisian Police Department, Avet Hovhannisyan, went to the hospital. The police determined that the injured individual is 36-year-old Anush Apetyan, a resident of the Armavir region, who sustained the mentioned injury in an unspecified area at kilometer 209 of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near a place known as the "Road Cabin," as a result of gunfire from an unknown individual under unclear circumstances.
The Goris Police Department is preparing materials regarding the incident.
