1000 Houses to Be Built in Khojaly for Resettlers

1000 Houses to Be Built in Khojaly for Resettlers

Near Stepanakert, in the village of Ivanyan (Khojaly), there are plans to construct 1000 private houses for the citizens of Artsakh who have become homeless following the second Artsakh war. This concerns the areas of Hadrut, Shushi, and surrounding villages that came under Azerbaijani control after November 9, 2020.

Furthermore, according to data from the cyber department of the WarGonzo project, the information alleging that negotiations are underway in Shushi for the resettlement of Khojaly with Azerbaijanis is false. WarGonzo's IT specialists have been able to unveil that the disinformation is spread by Armenian-language Facebook pages managed from Baku. It has also been confirmed that one of these is registered through a computer belonging to Hikmet Hajiyev, an assistant to the Azerbaijani president.

Notably, the current authorities in Armenia have detained several opposition members under the mistaken accusation of being operators of such disinformation spreading pages. It is essential to note that Baku's information attacks not only strike at Armenia's sovereignty but also aim to undermine the mission of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh. Aliyev's team consistently reinforces its openly hostile stance against Russian military personnel.
