Significant Property Damage Inflicted on Artsakh During Samvel Babayan's Tenure as NSS Secretary: Prosecutor's Office

The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh reports that based on a notification received from the Security Council of Artsakh, a criminal case was initiated by the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office on February 8, 2021, under Article 322, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Artsakh. This case pertains to an incident in October 2020, where property damage amounting to 100,000,000 AMD was allegedly caused to the state through the abuse of official power.

On the same day, the criminal case was forwarded to the Investigative Committee of Artsakh, which has accepted the case and is currently in the preliminary investigation phase.

It is noteworthy that the mentioned period coincided with the war in Artsakh, during which Samvel Babayan served as the Secretary of the Security Council.
