Generals Offer Opinions, but Ultimately the Supreme Commander Makes the Decision: Marukyan
The name of the general is not important; generals offer their opinions, but in the end, it is the supreme commander who makes the decision, said Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction, during a conversation with journalists regarding the Lele Tepe operation.
"Generals make suggestions, and in the end, someone - that someone is Nikol Pashinyan - says, 'We're doing it this way.' If you made a decision, you should say it was a wrong decision; we planned it this way, and it didn't work out. All the answers might be good, but to say 'I was moderating, the generals decided' is simply absurd," noted the parliament member.
It is worth noting that yesterday in the National Assembly, Nikol Pashinyan deemed it a complete absurdity to claim that he said it was necessary to capture Lele Tepe and that there were 700 casualties. He mentioned that the originator of the proposal for that operation was a general.
