Pashinyan is Mentally Ill and a Liar: Let Him File a Criminal Case, Movses Hakobyan
General Lieutenant Movses Hakobyan, former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia and former chief military inspector, has denied Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement in parliament regarding him. The Prime Minister claimed that General Lieutenant Hakobyan attempted to surrender the territories of the 7th defensive region of Artsakh during military operations, asserting that it is due to the Prime Minister's decision that it remains under the control of the Armenian Defense Forces.
“He is mentally ill and a liar. Who am I practically, and what can I do? Let him prove it, let him file a criminal case. I am not a public official, I am not a traitor, I am not a leader, I do not make decisions,” Movses Hakobyan stated in an interview with 24News.
The General also refuted another statement alleging that he suggested the idea of capturing Lele-Tepe. “There is no such thing. I was not there,” the former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported.
It is noteworthy that today in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the public discussions about the “exaggerations and disinformation” regarding the 44-day war, stating that a high-ranking general suggested the idea of capturing Lele-Tepe, although he “has never expressed any opinion on this matter.”
