The Complete Disregard of Azerbaijan's Autocrat Towards Humanity is Not So Surprising: Artsakh Ombudsman

The opening of the so-called “Military Trophy Park” by the Azerbaijani authorities in Baku is yet another manifestation of pathological hatred towards Armenians, which reflects the significant reservoir of animosity within Azerbaijani society against the Armenian people. At the same time, it serves as a source that fuels this animosity. This was reported by the Artsakh Ombudsman’s office.

What is not so surprising in all of this is the absolute contempt of Azerbaijan's autocrat towards humanity, but rather the indifference and tolerance of civilized society. Before the eyes of the world, Ilham Aliyev publicly tramples and humiliates the dignity of an entire people with fascist cynicism, deliberately inflicting suffering on the relatives of fallen servicemen, the missing, and captives.

Instead of merely shouting about condolences and the universality of human rights, the international community must appropriately assess the atrocities committed by Azerbaijan and hold it accountable for the crimes against humanity perpetrated during the 44-day war.
