Serzh Sargsyan Meets Russian Ambassador to Discuss Artsakh, Prisoners, and Domestic Political Situation in Armenia

Today, the leader of the Republican Party of Armenia and the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin.

During the meeting, issues of regional security were discussed, as well as the prospects for Armenian-Russian bilateral cooperation. A wide range of questions related to the aftermath of the recent war in Nagorno-Karabakh were also addressed, including additional measures for the return of Armenian prisoners of war and detained persons, as well as the search for the bodies of fallen servicemen.

President Sargsyan also touched upon issues related to the domestic political situation.
