Peskov Responds to Aliyev's Statement

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has responded to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's statement regarding discussions with Putin about Armenia's claim on the use of Iskander missiles during the recent escalation.

According to Peskov, the issue of the discovery of "Iskander-M" missiles in Artsakh is being discussed through military channels, as reported by 'RIA Novosti'.

“There is a close dialogue along the military lines, during which all relevant questions are discussed,” Peskov said while answering a question about whether the Kremlin received a letter from Baku and whether this topic was indeed addressed during the phone conversation between the two presidents.

Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that he had discussed the information regarding the discovery of "Iskander-M" missiles in Karabakh with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and in this regard, Baku had sent an official letter to Moscow with evidence and photographs.
