If Serzh Sargsyan Ever Promised Anything to Ilham Aliyev, It Would Be to See His Own Rear End: Office of Armenia's Third President

Ilham the deceiver, after brazenly distorting the history and culture of the Armenian people and attempting to appropriate the historical homeland of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia with its capital, has now cynically decided to distort the history of the negotiation process and transform Azerbaijan's failure during the April War into a victory. He is attributing his request to halt the war to the opposing side, fabricating dialogue texts and citing these fabricated materials as direct quotations. This was stated in a statement released by the office of Armenia's third President.

"And he has found his 'trick' for presenting his lies as reality—repeatedly stating the same thing until the other party gets tired of denying them or simply ignores him, leaving only his own lies published as 'evidence of reality.' If Serzh Sargsyan ever promised anything to Ilham Aliyev, it would be to see his own rear end before the Armenian side's demands were met regarding the determination of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh outside of Azerbaijan, the establishment of an uninterrupted and reliable land border (land connection) between Armenia and Artsakh, and the provision of internationally guaranteed security for the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The excitement of Aliyev, who has repeatedly been defeated by Serzh Sargsyan on the diplomatic front and in war, is understandable; however, his contradictory statements, often made in the heat of this excitement, are simultaneously laughable. According to Aliyev, Serzh Sargsyan was continuously refusing to return land, and Karvachar and Lachin would never be handed over while Sargsyan was in power, yet in 2020, they 'heroically' seized them. On one hand, Sargsyan promised to hand over the lands and did not, while on another, he was allegedly forced to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh behind closed doors, yet Azerbaijan would never agree to take that step. Ilham the deceiver must finally figure out which of his lies is more 'accurate'", the message states.
