Detected Munitions to Be Destroyed On-Site

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informs that today, the service's sapper units, in cooperation with their Russian counterparts from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and The Halo Trust organization, are conducting engineering reconnaissance activities to find munitions in the areas adjacent to Martakert, Askeran, and Stepanakert.

The detected munitions will be destroyed on-site. The Humanitarian Demining Center Foundation is planning explosive works in the territories of the villages of Khnatsakh and Aygestan in the Askeran region.
