Parents of Missing and Fallen Soldiers Meet with MP Sofia Hovhannisyan

Parents of soldiers missing and fallen due to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh have met with independent MP Sofia Hovhannisyan at the National Assembly. According to Armenpress, they are holding discussions with the MPs.

“The parents want the military personnel who took their children to the frontlines to be interrogated and held accountable. Their sole demand is accountability,” stated Sofia Hovhannisyan.

On April 12, the parents of the missing soldiers held a protest in front of the government building. On April 8, the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, announced that the return of prisoners has once again been postponed, as the eighth point of the trilateral statement of November 9 is not being implemented by the adversary, which constitutes a gross violation of the post-war humanitarian process.
