Do Not Make Us Criminals, Otherwise Revenge Will Be Horrible: Father of Missing Soldier to Authorities

“Our children have been deceived and taken from their positions, told that they are being taken to a safe place.” This was stated by the father of a missing soldier in a conversation with reporters, as reported by tert.am.

Today, parents of missing soldiers entered the National Assembly demanding to be informed about the circumstances under which their children were killed and why they were misled for days.

“The children were deceived and told that they were being taken to storage areas. They came and took the children to the meat grinder, and now we demand that Jalal Harutyunyan be detained by the NSS, as the order was given by him,” he said.

The father of the missing soldier noted that if they are not presented with details regarding how and under what conditions their children were killed within 1-2 weeks, there will be revenge.

“I appeal to the current authorities: do not make us criminals, otherwise, the revenge will be horrible. I, Shahbaryan, say this; otherwise, there will be revenge, just as they did, so we will do,” he noted.

The father of two fallen soldiers mentioned that on October 11, his sons were taken in an unknown direction, and since then, he has had no information about them. “In the 44-day Artsakh war, I lost my two sons; I have nothing else, just my sons, and I now demand, and I will continue to demand, that the cause of my sons' deaths be revealed.

My sons were taken from their positions on October 11 and sent towards Hadrut, and since then we have had no information for several months. Initially, we were deceived, being told they were in a safe place,” said the father of the two fallen soldiers.

He also noted that it was impossible to identify the bodies of the boys, especially that of the younger son. “I identified my sons through DNA testing and buried them. For a long time, I have tried to contact their commanders to come and explain the circumstances under which my sons died, but to no avail. They didn’t even have the right to take two children from one home,” he said.
