Simon Martirosyan Wins Small Gold Medal at European Championship
At the ongoing Weightlifting European Championship in Moscow, Simon Martirosyan, a double World and European champion and Olympic silver medalist, secured a small gold medal in the 109 kg weight category. He achieved this by lifting 190 kg in the snatch event, according to Armsport.am.
Notably, Martirosyan was only able to lift the 190 kg barbell on his third attempt.
