1029 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Armenia

As of April 9, Armenia has confirmed 1029 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 201,158.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 22 citizens died from COVID-19 in just one day, escalating the total death toll to 3697.

In addition, there were 4 cases of patients with COVID-19 who died from other illnesses within the same day. The total number of such cases has reached 944 as of April 9.

In total, 26 people died in one day, resulting in an overall death count of 4641.

The number of recoveries in one day was 1117, with a total of 180,160 recoveries to date. Currently, there are 16,357 individuals receiving treatment, a decrease of 114 from the previous day.

On that day, 4589 tests were conducted, making the overall total 894,461 tests conducted since the beginning of the outbreak.
