Ara Abrahamyan Holds Closed Meetings in Armenia

“I need to talk about this at length, but not now.” This is what Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Union of Armenians in Russia, told NEWS.am when commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Moscow yesterday. During that meeting, questions were reportedly pre-distributed, and almost all participants were members of the ‘Association of Armenian Lawyers’.

Abrahamyan has been in Armenia for several days. He met with Armen Sarkissian yesterday, and today a closed meeting was organized at the Writers' Union.

It is worth noting that Ara Abrahamyan has expressed a desire to participate in the upcoming snap elections, but the format and the parties he will collaborate with remain unknown for now. “I will soon announce my personal participation, including what my political power is, what my financial capacity is, what programs I have, with whom I have agreements, and what team I have,” he stated the day before.
