Amberd Fortress and Roads to Kari Lake Closed

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Ararat Province to Amberd Fortress and to Kari Lake are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open. There are about 430 trucks stranded on the Russian side.
