14 Arrested During Meeting Between Pashinyan and Armenian Lawyers

During a meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and members of the Association of Armenian Lawyers in Russia, 14 young Armenians were arrested. According to ArmDaily.am sources, active young members of the Union of Armenians in Russia attempted to enter the venue where the meeting was held.

The youths tried to enter carrying placards with inscriptions. However, since their names were not included on the guest list, they were asked to leave the hotel and were arrested outside. A total of 14 individuals were arrested, including 4 women.

It is interesting to note that among those arrested was the former assistant of Shahen Petrosyan, who has previously been the head of the Moscow division of the Union of Armenians.

All those detained were released immediately after the meeting concluded.
