Statue of 'Fearless Girl' Installed Outside Government Building with Secret Unveiling, Says Vrtanesyan

“Today, an event took place that could not have been born even in the brilliant mind of Kusturica with its perfect postmodern cynicism... While hundreds of police officers were twisting the arms of women and girls and dragging them away to the precinct, at the same time, about 200 meters away from there, near the entrance of the Government's third building, a statue was erected. The unveiling of the statue was done secretly, without informing the press and the public. The statue is named 'Fearless Girl',” wrote Karen Vrtanesyan.
