If Necessary, We Will Go to War Again: Hrant Bagratyan
“We believe that the swift change of the Prime Minister is essential, because there is a real chance and a high likelihood that at least we can return Hadrut and Shushi,” stated former Prime Minister of Armenia Hrant Bagratyan during a broadcast on Public Television.
Expounding on the possibility of returning Shushi and Hadrut, Bagratyan said, “We can easily bring them back. The Minsk Group should work, and the territorial integrity of the Republic of Artsakh should be restored.”
In response to Petros Ghazaryan's remark that “Aliyev will just say he doesn’t care about your territorial integrity,” Bagratyan replied, “We will not give them a road through Syunik. This is more important for them than the road to Russia through our territory.”
“The NKR has not ceased to exist, the Republic of Artsakh has not ceased to exist… If necessary, we will go to war again,” Bagratyan said.
“How, against whom, and at whose expense will you go to war?” Ghazaryan inquired.
“You know, I have once fought a war, and it seems I won. It happened once... We will first demand that they restore territorial integrity and allow the residents of Hadrut to return and live there,” responded Hrant Bagratyan.
