COVID-19-Infected Man Commits Suicide in Yerevan Hospital Two Weeks After Admission

In Yerevan, an unfortunate incident occurred last night at one of the medical centers treating COVID-19 patients. A 72-year-old patient jumped from the window of his hospital room.

According to the police, an investigation is underway regarding the incident. “On April 7 at 07:20, a report was received from one of Yerevan's hospitals stating that a man born in 1949, diagnosed with COVID-19 and admitted for treatment on March 25, committed suicide by jumping out of the window of the third floor of the mentioned center at 06:50. An examination has been appointed. An investigation is being conducted,” the police stated.
