Another Remains Transferred to the Armenian Side
Searches conducted today in the Jraghakul (Jabrayil) region ended in futility once again. However, in the afternoon, the Azerbaijani side transferred another set of remains to the Armenian side in the Varanda (Fizuli) region.
According to preliminary data, the remains belong to one of the participants of military operations (either an armed forces soldier, a volunteer, or a reservist). A forensic examination will be arranged to determine their identity.
Since the ceasefire, a total of 1,530 remains have been discovered or transferred from territories outside of Artsakh’s control, with initial reports indicating that 27 of them are civilians.
Search efforts will continue tomorrow in the Jraghakul (Jabrayil) region.
