Levon Kocharian: Such Outrageous Violations Should Have Never Happened

After the Constitutional Court’s ruling, and now following Danibekyan’s decision, I continually receive congratulations from relatives and many acquaintances, both known and unknown. This was stated by Levon Kocharian, son of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, on his Facebook page.

“Of course, it seems that we should be happy, but looking back at the past three years, it is hard to feel joy, as such glaring violations should never have occurred in the first place, and a healthy society, regardless of its preferences, should not have tolerated all this. However, very few have had the courage to voice these concerns, and among law enforcement, few have refused to be a part of this disgrace, with only a handful of judges having the bravery to act solely according to the law. I express my gratitude to these individuals,” he wrote.
