I Confirm, They Communicate Quite Often. Peskov Confirms That Putin and Kocharian Have Spoken

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has informed reporters that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation last week with former Armenian President Robert Kocharian. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“I confirm. They indeed spoke on the phone. And you know they have had a good relationship for a long time and communicate quite often,” Peskov said in response to a question about whether the Kremlin could confirm or deny the information regarding Kocharian's contact with Putin while he was in Moscow for a meeting of the board of directors of the ‘Sistema’ financial group.

Kocharian is a member of the company’s board of directors.
